Is entry to Somerset Winter Wonderland free?

Yes! Everyone is welcome to explore the Winter Wonderland at no cost – skating, the grotto and some activities are ticketed.

Are dogs allowed?

Absolutely – we love well-behaved furry friends! Dogs must stay on a lead.

Is the ice rink real?

Yes – genuine, beautifully maintained real ice, fully undercover for the perfect winter skating atmosphere.

What are the age categories for ice skating tickets?

Adult Tickets are 15 years & over. Children Tickets are 14 years and under.

Can children skate on their own?

Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a paying adult on ice rink.

Do I need to book skating or the grotto in advance?

We highly recommend pre-booking to secure your preferred time, especially during busy December weekends.

Is there parking?

Limited parking is available at the cricket ground, with extra spaces at the nearby Canon Street car park.

What are the Apres Winter Bar opening days?

The bar is closed on:
3rd, 10th & 17th December

What payment methods do you accept?

Food & drink vendors accept Cash, Card and Twinkle Tokens.
The funfair uses our Twinkle Token system only, purchasable with card or cash.

What is your Twinkle Token system?

Twinkle Tokens can be purchased from our Token Kiosk, purchasable with card or cash, and used to pay for Funfair Rides.

Is the event weatherproof?

Much of the event – including the rink and grotto – is undercover, making it perfect in almost any weather.
